We recently released our first Sector Assessment – BARRIERS TO MIGRANT INTEGRATION: CHALLENGES FACING MIGRANTS AND THE MIGRATION SUPPORT SECTOR IN BIRMINGHAM AND THE BLACK COUNTRY. The report has been shared widely with colleagues across the voluntary sector, policy makers, elected representatives and in local government.

We are keen to build on the momentum following the release of the report and look to bring together a broad coalition of groups working on these issues, develop responses and ensuring the needs of migrants are included in strategic planning.

To support this work, we are organising a meeting in January where we can share an update from the Project, discuss opportunities for collaboration and look to develop a regional network.

There is a selection of possible dates in January that can be selected at THIS LINK and we will endeavour to arrange times whenever is most convenient. If there is sufficient demand, then we will look to arrange an additional date so we can consult as widely as possible.

If none are suitable but you would still like to be involved then don’t hesitate to contact me at andy@migrationpolicy.org.uk and we can arrange a time to discuss.
