We are delighted to be hosting an event to support Refugee Week on Monday 17th June from 10:30 – 2:30 at the Birmingham Settlement Nature and Wellbeing Centre, Edgbaston Reservoir, 79 Selwyn Road, B16 0SL.
It is open to all with the aim of supporting the work of our Regional Migration Network promoting social integration for migrants, particularly around access to community based activities. We hope to provide an opportunity for individuals and organisations to explore and promote access to groups, activities, and volunteer opportunities for migrants to help build friendships, improve language skills and support integration.
There will be full access to the site, with some activities and games available for children and a walk around the reservoir (weather permitting). We will also put on some lunch and talk about some of the work we have been doing in our network to support integration activities.
